Second Muster is a free, independent resource for veterans, service members and their families. It is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, or any military branch.

What we collect

Nothing. Second Muster has no accounts and no sign-in, and it does not send anything you type to us or anyone else.

What stays on your device

A few things are saved in your own browser so they're there when you come back:

• Your job applications in the Job Tracker
• Your separation date and Timeline checkboxes
• The last tab, state and location you picked

This information stays on your phone or computer. We can't see it. Clearing your browser's site data, or uninstalling the app, deletes it.

Links to other sites

Second Muster links to other websites, like VA.gov, job boards and veteran organizations. When you open one, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Fonts

The app loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to download them.

Crisis help

If you are in crisis, call 988 and press 1, text 838255, or chat at VeteransCrisisLine.net. In an emergency, call 911.
